In this weekly course, you will
use and improve your conversation skills: we will mostly talk talk talk, unless quick extra input on grammar or else is necessary.
expand your vocabulary: we will discuss current topics from a variety of different fields, based on (simplified) newspaper articles, book extracts, and on participants’ special interests.
learn to diminish misunderstandings: we will watch out for ‘Germanisms’ that might cause misunderstandings for non-German speakers.
broaden your view of the English speaking world: we will get to know different varieties of English as they are spoken around the world and in different settings, and get an idea of English for international communication.
Required language level: B1+ and above.
